프린터는 표계산, 보고서, 도표 같은 일상적인 작업을 하는데 있어서 유용하다.
하지만 토스트나 라떼에도 인쇄할 수 있을까?

ZUSE

 

Called the ZUSE, this interesting dot matrix-inspired printer burns images and text with
12 x 12 resolution, line-by-line. Basically, it uses an optical sensor to detect bread which
then activates the digitization process. Pricing and availability have not yet been announced.

ZUSE라 불리는 이 흥미로운 도트 매트릭스 기반 프린터는 광학 센서로 빵을 탐지한 후, 내부의
디지털 프로세스를 작동시켜 12 x 12 해상도의 그림과 글자를 빵에 나타낸다.
아직까지 가격과 출시 계획은 언급된게 없다. 

Latte Printer

 

This custom-built printer uses a Philips 8155 x-y flatbed plotter to literally shoot edible ink onto the frothy surface of any latte. To build your own, you'll need: a plotter, GPIB interface card,
12V relay, and edible ink. However, you'll need some programming knowledge and the book Inkjet Applications for the art you see below.

이 자작 프린터는 필립스 8155 x-y flatbed plotter를 이용해 만들었고 라떼의 거품 표면에 식용 잉크를 분사한다. 제작을 위해서는 플로터, GPIB 인터페이스 카드, 12V relay, 식용 잉크가 필요하다.
하지만 그게 끝은 아니다. 약간의 프로그래밍 지식과 잉크젯 응용프로그램도 알아야 가능하다.
